Based in Philadelphia with Liberty 1, Adam Sirkin started Liberty Uplink in 1999 to fill the need in the Mid-Atlantic region for a quality vendor truck. Adam has been in the Philadelphia television market for 16 years, starting as an assignment editor. Adam brings with him a unique sense of what it takes cover a news story – be it a complicated logistical problem or simply having his old contact book handy to help out a reporter.
Based in New England with Liberty 2 and Liberty's Flyaway system, Chuck Ranney has been involved with mobile television operations for over 13 years. He has worked for CNN, uplinked from the Arctic Circle, and worked as an embedded satellite engineer for CBS News in the Iraq War. A field engineer by training, Chuck provides the skills that make for reliable field television production.
We operate Tandberg Television MPEG encoders, Leitch routing equipment, and broadcast quality support gear. Our equipment is up to date, well maintained, and conforms to network television standards.
Our client list includes NBC, ABC, CBS, NBC Newschannel, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC ABSAT, ESPN, Court TV, Comcast SportsNet, Bloomberg Television, CNN, FOX News, BBC, Discovery Networks, and several other foreign and domestic broadcasters, as well as local television stations and government agencies.
