Since 1999, Liberty Uplink has provided thousands of remote contributions for live television programming, live webcasts, network news live shots, and sporting events. Focusing on remote satellite transmissions, we have the experience, technologies, and depth to insure your material gets from the field, to the viewer - flawlessly.
In today's competitive media environment, there is no room for error, and as an owner operated company, we are personally involved from project conception to completion.
Working with industry veterans, we provide preproduction scouting services, satellite time booking, production coordination, camera crews and transmission services. Our relationships enable us to deliver the talent that is an experienced, exact fit for your production requirements.
Our Team:
Partner Adam Sirkin started Liberty Uplink in 1999 to fill the need in the Mid-Atlantic region for a quality vendor satellite truck. Adam has been involved in television news for over 18 years, from the assignment desk to the field, and is the primary operator of our Liberty 1 SNG truck, based in Philadelphia; Adam also handles day to day administration of the company.
Partner Chuck Ranney has been involved with mobile television operations for over 16 years. He has worked for CNN, uplinked from the Arctic Circle and international locations, and worked as an embedded satellite engineer for CBS News in the Iraq War. He joined Adam and Liberty Uplink in 2005, and operates our SNG trucks and the Liberty Flyaway, in addition to handling special projects and engineering for Liberty.
Chris Larose has uplinked for major broadcasters and corporations all over the United States. Joining Liberty Uplink in 2008, his attention to detail and production background make him an asset on satellite remotes. Always willing to go the extra mile for our clients, Chris operates our SNG trucks out of New England.
